Summary: Use our extension responsibly. Don't abuse the service. We provide it "as is" without warranties. Paid subscriptions can be cancelled anytime.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using ChatGPT Query Extractor ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Extension.
2. Description of Service
ChatGPT Query Extractor is a browser extension that:
- Extracts search queries from ChatGPT conversations
- Copies extracted queries to your clipboard
- Optionally syncs queries across devices (when signed in)
- Provides additional features for paid subscribers
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Extension for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the Extension
- Create multiple accounts to bypass usage limits
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems to abuse the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
5. Free and Paid Tiers
Free Tier:
- Limited to 5 queries per day (guest) or 10 queries per day (signed in)
- Basic functionality included
- May be modified or discontinued at any time
Paid Subscriptions:
- Unlimited query extraction
- Billed monthly or annually via Stripe
- Cancel anytime - access continues until end of billing period
- No refunds for partial billing periods
6. Payment Terms
For paid subscriptions:
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- You can cancel anytime through the Extension or Stripe portal
- Price changes will be notified 30 days in advance
7. Intellectual Property
The Extension, including its code, design, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Extension without permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all browsers or systems
- That all queries will be captured accurately
- Continued availability of any features
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION.
10. Third-Party Services
The Extension interacts with third-party services:
- ChatGPT/OpenAI: We are not affiliated with OpenAI. The Extension works with their public interface.
- Firebase: Used for authentication and data storage
- Stripe: Used for payment processing
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Abuse the service or other users
- Engage in fraudulent activity
You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be communicated via the Extension or email.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
